Illustrated by Bev Newton. One day while Walter Wind is blowing around the town of Mulberry, he discovers new garbage cans in everyone's driveway and rushes to tell his friend, Trash. Trash wonders, "Why new cans, Walter?" Trash likes his old can with the bent-up lid; he likes the way he smells. Walter soars away to solve the mystery of the new multi-coloured cans and learns about recycling and composting.
