Publisher's Synopsis

A comprehensive insight reflecting the independently mounted exhibitions, Tragedy Plus Time: I Laughed, I Cried, I Split My Side which explored the tragicomic impulse in contemporary art.

Tragedy Plus Time explores the political dimensions of comedy in art while I Laughed explores the interstices of humour and horror.
