Publisher's Synopsis
In early 1917 the war in the air intensified. Richthofen's Jagdstaffel 11 was flying Albatros and Halberstadt planes. Into the fray came 40 Squadron RFC with its problematic FE8s. No contest you would think, but the courage of men like Lionel Blaxland and Mick Mannock ensured the Germans didn't have it all their own way.
