Publisher's Synopsis
MacLaren, a British political thinker, sought to make people aware of the economic condition of society. He believed freedom to be our principal endeavour, the creation of a free society a worthy ideal. He did not distinguish between spiritual, civil or economic freedom - it needed no categorization or definition, to him it was man's birthright.
