In the face of serious social and environmental challenges, the Earth desperately needs people who actually live with the health of the planet as their highest goal. Yet what makes a person become a planetary citizen? Clearly, the issue is neither a lack of information nor of motivation. Most people already recognise the severity of the crisis we face and sincerely want to help resolve them. The key is to find a way beyond the feelings of overwhelm, guilt, fear and inertia that keep us paralysed. Earth Spirit Warrior provides such a path. The process is one of reawakening. At a personal level, it helps us reclaim dreams and core desires that have been buried beneath the demands of living in a technological society. When we express ourselves from this more authentic level, not only do we enjoy renewed vitality and personal fulfilment, we also begin to share the very gifts that are of greatest help to the Whole. At a deeper level, we reawaken the inherent capacity for deep, intuitive connection with the rest of life that, although vital for human survival, has been buried under a 'culture trance' of isolation and alienation from Nature. The goal of Earth Spirit Warrior is to reawaken the awareness of our essential interconnection with all life and to encourage the effective, aligned action that flows naturally from it. The process is positive, experiential and accessible to a broad range of participants, it is built around a series of simple exercises designed to engage body, heart, mind and spirit. The process encourages small, progressive shifts in perspective which ultimately add up to a profoundly altered view of one's place in life and one's ability to make positive contributions. The exercises provide a framework around which ecological and spiritual principals are presented through stories, personal experiences, illustrations, visualisations, practical examples and meditative inspirations from Nature consciousness.
