This book provides ten ancient and moral legends about courage and fifteen role models of courageous individuals. Biographical sketches are provided for the role models, which represent six areas of endeavor. These individuals displayed strong personal characteristics, including perseverance, motivation, determination, resilience, and creativity, as discussed in other books in the Human Values Series. They provide us with examples of behavior to emulate. We can learn from them.
