Join Megedagik (kills many) an Algonquin Indian who gives up his worldly possessions and the woman who is the love of his life as he relentlessly pursues his dream of reaching by canoe Lake Erie (Erige the wildcat) as it was known to the Aboriginal peoples (Indians or native Americans) of the Michigan area. His trip begins circa early 1800s at the source of the River Raisin located near the Irish Hills and ends in dramatic fashion after several harrowing detours and life threatening encounters along the way as he journeys to the Port city of now present day Monroe Michigan.
