This helpful leaflet explains that being a Confirmation Sponsor is an important responsibility. We are told what Confirmation candidate is and what a Confirmation Sponsor is, who can be a candidate and who can be a Sponsor. What happens during the actual Rite of Confirmation is detailed and the future role of the Sponsor is elucidated. A Confirmation sponsor agreement form is included which should be sent to the Parish Office of the parish where the candidate is to be confirmed at least two weeks before the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation.
