Addressing contemporary issues which are important to women in the context of work and careers, family life and politics, the former South London Synagogue rabbi examines the achievements of the women's movement of the Sixties and early Seventies. Her opinion is that these have resulted in very little change, except possibly in that women have increased their workload, but she offers her views on what should be done and how it might be achieved.
