Selwyn originally wrote this issue entitled 'The Ways of God', to coincide with the opening of Waverley Abbey House in 1987. He showed us it is important to understand God's ways, to try to discover them. Some of the ways of God - so different to man's - He will: Test/train before He entrusts; withhold answers to prayer; reveal Himself in the ordinary and the extraordinary, finish and perfect everything in its time. We need to know His ways to allay worry, frustration and fear.
