Fleur Adcock's ballad tells the story of the Northumbrian hero - as viewed by his wife, Elizabeth Mortimer. Written for music by Gillian Whitehead, the book is illustrated with monoprints by the acclaimed New Zealand artist Gretchen Albrecht.
