This report explores employer's policies, practices and attitudes towards the employment of people with disabilities. It looks at overall patterns of employment and recruitment across different sectors and sizes of employer. The authors also provides a discussion of: employer's attitudes towards people with various disabilities; the extent to which they are prepared to accomodate them; and the role and influence of a number of recent initiatives, including the "double-tick" symbol, Local Employer Networks, Access to Work, and PACTs.
