Charlotte Sloan is now in the business of dismantling the queen's empire, and business is good. Sloan is in a position she never dreamed possible. But the inhabitants of Azra aren't exactly keen on throwing in with; a recently turned vampire, a grouchy werewolf, a pint sized gnome and a mad scientist.Amidst the little things like fighting for her life and organizing a militia to take on the queen's army of vampire soldiers, Sloan finds herself drawn to a shifter named Kade. The timing is completely wrong but what in Sloan's world ever goes right?
