This novel details the lives of shape-shifting pet shop owner Roderick, his shop assistant who exhibits Dr Doolittle-like-tendencies, and the animal inhabitants of the glorious and otherworldly emporium. There is Cyril, the obese mind-manipulating cat, Tibetan terrier Bruno whose gecko pads allow him to climb walls and ceilings, and Freakin' Frank, a groovy, music-loving, dancing chameleon who seems all set to take Ibiza by storm. Alongside the animals, their new owners are equally as colourful.
