Publisher's Synopsis
Andre, a beautiful, wayward, haughty wife, is taken by her husband, Peter, to a special centre where she is taught humility. At the centre, she is trained and put to work on a special capstan-like machine in order to improve her staying power and already impressive figure. Others in the centre, however, are not so fortunate; they hold out against submission and are cruelly punished to bring them into line. Later, Andre's husband joins the centre and, delighting in his wife's new subservience, decides to take her home and put her to work in the ground of his mansion.
