It is just another day in hell for John Tiber. If school isn't' bad enough he has Danny and his cronies to deal with. Danny will be the death of him one day, he thinks, sooner or later he will go too far. Sooner being the more likely of the two.
But he is wrong about that, there are far worse forms of hell than Danny and the threat of mere death. Something is waiting for him in the Old Manor House. Or rather someone who will change everything for the sixteen year old. Who takes things further than John can ever imagine. When he initiates him into his world of the Wonder-kind. Where power is almost everything, save for the thirst for the red stuff.
John has a taste for it now, but it looks like it will cost him everything, with his humanity long gone, his sanity is next and maybe even his fast-darkening soul. After all, things look very different if see life out of the bottom of a glass stained red with human blood.
