Publisher's Synopsis
They say not to meet your heroes. They don't say anything about your hero's wife.
Tenth-grade English teacher, Rosalind Thorne, is unlucky when it comes to love. After a day of heartbreak and stress at work, all she wants to do is relax with her best friend, Patricia. After a visit to the flea market, Patricia confesses how she longs for the days when they were lovers. However, Rosalind is too enamored with her coworker, Fred, to get involved.
The confused romantic decides to treat herself to a bath while reading her favorite book: The Great Gatsby. But when the water turns ice cold and the bottom of the tub disappears from under her, she finds herself stuck in 1920's Manhattan where she meets none other than her idol, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and his darling wife, Zelda.
Thus begins a secret, steamy affair with the Golden Girl of New York City right under the nose of her jealous and suspicious husband. Lavish parties in underground speakeasies and decadent dinners at the finest establishments in town distract Rosalind for a time. But as things go horribly awry, she realizes she loves another person back in her own time. Can she find a way back to her one true love?
