Publisher's Synopsis
Allison, a teenager is sent to her grandparents ranch in Texas while her mother, a world class model goes off to Paris. On the ranch she falls in love with a race horse, Texas Star who is injured in a accident and the teenage boy who helps her nurse the colt back to racing form. Allison accepts a challenge and wins the Blue Bonnet Derby. Winning this horse race shows she has the heart of a champion and saves her grandparents ranch from being auctioned off.
