Publisher's Synopsis
Graduation seemed like an eternity when Sidra Howard, Chasity Parker, Malajia Simmons, Emily Harris, and Alexandra Chisolm first stepped foot onto the Paradise Valley University campus four years ago as freshmen. Now seniors, they are heading into their final semester full of excitement and drama.
Aside from an occasional bout with stress, Sidra is known for having it all together. But when tensions arise both within her long-distance romance and her home life, Sidra begins to unravel at the seams, jeopardizing the friendships she holds dear. Emily has had one of the biggest transformations over the years. Her strength and growing confidence have improved her whole life, from her friendships to her grades. But when an estranged relative shows up unexpectedly, can Emily continue to maintain this new persona and stand her ground?
Malajia is in such a good head space that even being the subject of a past nuisance's sniping doesn't faze her...too much. But when memories of a difficult choice begin to resurface, Malajia feels like she's being haunted. She soon realizes that it's not only guilt that has come back to haunt her. With an ideal course load and a relationship that is stronger than ever, Chasity is expecting her last semester to be problem free. But as old wounds are reopened, and a past threat returns, Chasity soon realizes that a problem free semester is not in the cards.
Life both on and off campus for this group has had its highs and lows over the years, and unfortunately for some, life is about to hit an all new low. Venomous words are hurled, friendships are tested, promises are broken, and lives are placed in danger. The journey to the finish line that is graduation won't be as easy as the girls had hoped.
