It continues the protagonist lives through a life of abuse and how she manages to raise her adopted children and yet keep her self-esteem. This third book relates her experiences to free herself of the superwoman personality. "The Death of a Superwoman - Learning to be Free" tears into the heart of a mother desperately trying to raise her children in an impossible situation. It relates the pain that she must endure to set herself free from the societal norms and family expectations. Though the characters are not the same the series sequel "I Did It!" continues the story line to its conclusion.
