Publisher's Synopsis
Vespias has found the time to return home. Her beloved Castia is healing from the Black Knight's attack, but it needs so much more. Before she can sit, the Regent of Tiran demands her company in his office. When the Huntress arrives, what he asks of her is not what she expected to hear. The world around her is about to explode and only she and Salaris can hope to contain it. Vespias is returned her rank as General of Tiran and she has a multifaceted war to plan for. A war that will reach from her home, all the way to the Kikidiri jungles across the sea. A strange cult rises and threatens not only the Junin but the Gyrnnalli ways of life. The city of Navvas, the new city of Jaslin, and Castia all face an imminent attack from one of the most massive armies to ever stand. And in the midst of this, Tiran stands braced for the attack of Prince Frall and his wizards. Tiran wants her freedom and will live victorious or die rebellious. The Huntress has all of this to conquer, but before any of it will happen, she needs to conquer one other foe. The dark demons that exist within her must be quelled before she can hope to defeat anyone else. Once again, with her family and allies by her side, she takes on the impossible. Once again, her story is not for the faint of heart. Once more, her journal reveals the woman while her story reveals the warrior.
