Cataleya Rojas is the glue that holds her family together. Their needs often come before hers, and she never has a problem with that. When her strung out mother unexpectedly overdoses, she knows it's time for a change. That change falls in her lap when her father, who she hasn't seen much of over the years, offers her the opportunity to come stay with him. Little does she know, his open invitation comes with a hidden agenda. She always wants a taste of the lavish lifestyle, and she's going to get just that when she goes to stay with him. Living the lavish lifestyle doesn't come for free, though. It comes with murder, drugs, guns, and money. Things aren't as they seem, and by the time she figures this out, she will be in way over her head. There is an upside to the sudden move, and that upside is Cezar. Cezar is the leader of his mob, and they only have one agenda-taking out the Colombian Cartel. Cataleya's father just so happens to be the boss of this cartel, and he's never been tricked out of his spot. He's older than most of the new cats in the game, and with old age, comes experience. Yet, that doesn't stop Cezar from setting his sights on his empire. While he's fighting to go after what he wants, he finds himself falling for Cataleya. There's one thing he doesn't know about her... She's the heart of the cartel. Will finding out that the girl he wants is in the middle of the cartel he's after change his mind about her? Will Cataleya be able to keep her head above water as she's thrown into trials and tribulations? Is this love meant to be, or is seeking after the heart of the cartel just impossible? Which side will come out on top? When truths come out, hearts will be crushed, sides will have to be chosen, and someone may end up having to pay for it all... in blood.
