Publisher's Synopsis
A secret vampire college. A girl with a unique gift. And a conspiracy that changes her life forever.
Devastated from her recent experience at the prom, Rebecca Flynn believes her life cannot possible get any worse. Soon enough, however, Rebecca finds the prom to be the least of her worries as she is hurled into a world she never knew existed, a world in which vampires and their mortal enemies stand inches away from a worldwide war.
Narrowly escaping the jaws of death, Rebbeca is rescued by Raphael, a mysterious vampire whose looks are matched only by his infuriating arrogance. She is brought to an elite college for vampires at Cranvin Castle, deep in the Carpathian Mountains, where she is to be trained in the arts of a vampire.
But any safety at the college is a mere illusion, as are the fake smiles of the students and teachers surrounding her. While the King withers away, they drink forbidden blood and whisper treason behind his back. Real friendship is hard to come by. And yet, Rebecca needs all the help she can get in order to master her new abilities in time.
For the enemy is already within the walls.
