When she turns it on, birds slam into the ground around her, but she cannot turn it off. Satellites are ripped from the sky, and the moon is dragged closer to Earth, creating devastating tides, and make matters worse, a six-mile-diameter asteroid is on a collision course with our planet.
Alex discovers an alien spacecraft under the ice in Greenland, and is deceived by its artificial intelligence, who uses a woman named Pandora to represent it for what is about to happen. To protect her human slaves, she demands we kill every person with brown eyes, or she will destroy our entire species.
Social media postings will determine who will be chosen to survive a coming apocalypse. Mya Austin, an archeologist for the Sioux Nation, discovers a twenty-five thousand year old cave drawing depicting two human visitors arriving from space. Below them, words written in an ancient Sioux language explains they will return in exactly twenty-five thousand years, and according to her evidence, it is now. When geophysicist Alex Cave arrives at the dig site, the visitors return, and our society will never be the same.
