In a universe of myth and magic that spans the known, two great forces battle for control of all the realm, and at the heart of it are two powerful sisters, Princess Asora of the enchanted Utopian Kingdom and Queen Laxur of the mighty Darkcon Empire. Asora and Laxur clash with great nations, armies, and powers. However, both wish to reshape the universe in their image and ideals--one with enlightenment and progress, the other with greatness and order.
Asora, a magical princess, seeks scientific and technological advancements, both for peace and war. Laxur, a dark queen, wants greater power and revenge. Love and morality be damned.
Change can create great opportunities and new life, but it can also lead to terrible strife.
In all this, the people from both nations love their leaders (Asora and Laxur). But the world around them is coming down around them. New factions rise to protect the old ways. And to that, Laxur discovers a power that is beyond all. Asora discovers an ancient machine of great power built by a culture from eons past.
Asora and Laxur have become the wills of their people and nations. And the fate of this universe is in their hands.
