But one day, something happened between Ka and Blub which left Ka distraught. He then leaves and walks away far, far away from everything and everyone. Until something happened, a moment that will change everything in Ka's life very dramatically... Ilja van der Meijden (1973) was born and raised in Delft. She works closely with teaching/coaching children and adults. For children, she specializes in coaching/teaching them about the theme of bullying. Her book Candle Strange Canary debuted in 2014. She hopes that children who are dealing with bullying can draw strength from her story.
