I never asked fate to change me into a Bleeder. Zombiism is all I knew, but now I'll be hunted until they can find a way to kill me. If I hadn't had gone down to that hum-fight, if I didn't jump in the ring to satisfy my need for unprocessed human flesh, I'd still be accepted in society. I wouldn't have to hide from the werewolves who can smell life on me, from the vampires who, with one drop of blood, know everything about me. Now here I am, with a gaggle of humans and human-sympathizers, trying to hide my new identity, all while trying my hardest to avoid learning about the girl who turned me.
But it's near impossible when she's the only one I trust.
