HOT AND COLD. SUN AND RAIN. Hotaka is at his wits' end. Suddenly, improbably, he is befriended by Awaya Niki-the smoking queen of the swim team. But just as abruptly, she decides to drop out of his life without a warning. Though confounded and frustrated at first, Hotaka has resolved, by hook or by crook, to get an explanation on why Niki is avoiding him.
