Publisher's Synopsis
This compilation of poems, some of which date back to 2003, is really an inside look into my journey. From a young age, I always processed the ups and downs of life through writing - poems, journaling, doodling. Some are serious while others are laughable but behind each poem is a heart cry and I hope that some of these can be a catalyst to your own journey into fullness. The book is separated into a few different categories by type of poem as opposed to theme. In each category you'll find poems on love, life, death, desperation, fulfillment and the endless pursuit of One Thing. I am not publishing my poetry or selling my artwork to become 'rich and famous.' However, if my vulnerability and transparency of my journey through life helps you to walk through a difficult situation or acts as a springboard to launch you into your destiny, then it was well worth it to literally be "an open book". So take a deep breath, sit back and join me on my Journey into Beautiful. June Jeung is a Korean-American woman who grew up in Los Angeles and works as a social worker. She loves to write, draw, paint and capture beauty through photography. June shares her poetry, artwork and photography knowing that the vulnerability of her redemptive journey is one to be shared.
