Great Cat Caper for the S.A.V.E. Squad. It's bad enough S.A.V.E. Squad member Vee Nguyen has to fight her way back into the smart kids class, but now she's expected to complete a school service learning project, too? Eek! On the worst first day of school in the history of the planet, Vee meets one of the Community Center Dumpster cats, a curious kitten who is a lot like her: hissing and without a spot to call its own. But someone at the Senior Center wants the cats gulp gone by the Helpful City Festival. So Vee and the S.A.V.E. Squad leap in to save the cats before it's too late. They make one mistake after another, while Vee works madly to test back into the smart kids' class. To complicate things even further, the Squad's favorite TV show--Everything Animal--is coming to town, ;and the cats aren't ready! Will Vee regain her spot as smart kid. . .and will the curious kitten find a permanent spot in Vee's arms?
