Over thousands of years the Knoug System was strong in its belief of 'There are the Rulers, and there are the Ruled.' And they had long ago become an evil and power-hungry force. Now, the Knoug Empire was ready to capture a planet...then destroy a whole System! Unfortunately for mankind, that planet was Earth, which the Knougs considered to be the next step in their interplanetary campaign against their hated enemy, the Oholos. Parr came to Earth as one of the first Advanceman for the Knoug invasion. His mission: to set in motion the process that would demoralize the whole planet just before the invasion... The second novel, "No Time for Toffee" deals with the fact that politics and divine matters never mix... Life was Marc's oyster. However, subversives had shot him; a ghost was ready to haunt his corpse, and Toffee was loving him to death! When Marc discovered the evil plans of a sub-government subversive group he felt the need to take action. The bad guys, naturally, felt the need to "remove" Marc from the equation. Here is another entry in Charles F. Myers' series of delightful sci-fi fantasy romps featuring that beautiful, ever-confounding, will-o-the-wisp...Toffee.
