Nikki wanders aimlessly from one dead-end relationship to another - and frankly, she's bored of the whole deal. To stop all the nagging from family and friends, she fakes a Vegas wedding. On her return trip to Dallas, she meets dashing and successful Byron Matthews. And when her family insists on meeting her mysterious husband at a get-together, Nikki becomes entangled in a web of deception. Byron comes to the rescue - strictly in a spirit of fun - but before long they both realise the not-so-innocent prank is going to bring them more than they ever expected...
