Publisher's Synopsis
To imagine that the survivors of mass shootings could become more than conquerors is seldom spoken. The idea sounds absurd, like a sick joke. Most often, survivors are the walking wounded, people struggling with post-traumatic stress issues.
Why is it then that my wife and I, and a few other people whom we know who also suffered the loss of loved ones in a school shooting, are not so much characterized as "the conquered" but rather as more than conquerors?
Why are we not trapped in the past? Answering these questions is the purpose of this book.
The Bible offers insights that show the way to the peace of God that transcends understanding.
