Publisher's Synopsis
Disappearing twins, Maggie and Jennifer Arnold are off to China to see the Terra Cotta Warriors with "Grand," their daring grandmother. Their best friend, Sam, is also along with his digital camera. And that gets them all into trouble with a gang seeking something deadly.
It looks like it's going to be an uneventful "educational" trip, exploring the wonderful museum of the Terra Cotta Warriors near Xi'an. Since the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang was discovered in 1973, more than 8,000 warriors--all individually crafted--have been uncovered. In row after row they stand, lined up as if ready for battle.
Maggie, Jennifer, and Sam have barely arrived before Jennifer is scheming to get much closer to the statues. Then a couple of men in striped shirts run at Sam and try to grab his camera. What photos or video has he unknowingly got that they don't want anyone to see?
Then who should show up but someone else they've met before--the Greek millionaire, Skopakos, with a new chauffeur, Pavlos. What are they all after? And can Jennifer, Maggie, Sam, and Grand trust any of them? Can even Jennifer's magical ability to vanish save them from a truly deadly confrontation?
