Publisher's Synopsis
What had Noni gotten herself into? That was something she was still trying to figure out herself. Now, not only did she have to watch her back for Knight, but J.R. as well. She thought that she'd be able to hold on to her secret and put her plan in motion, but it quickly backfired on her. Now that JR knows what's going on and what she's been up to, Noni's not too sure what his next move will be. This isn't the JR she knows and has grown to love. She was now dealing with Zeus and if she didn't know what he was capable of before, she was about to find out. On top of all of that, her mom had just dropped a huge bomb on her and she finally understands Knight's beef with her family. All of this is starting to be too much for Noni and she's about ready to check out. Now more than ever, she needs her best friend by her side, but she's almost certain that won't be happening anytime soon. Her decisions haven't been the best and she, along with the ones she love, are paying the price for them. She's trying to right her wrongs, but can Noni manage to escape her tragic reality before it's too late? Or will her world come crashing down around her?
