Publisher's Synopsis
Ma-l's Grand Gathering is the celebration of the rise of the realms as a unique "multiverse" away from the original Oneness. It is also one in honor of all the key participants - Angels, humans, deities, a dog name Sam, and a mysterious Pacific frog - who intentionally and sometimes not, made it all happen. The week-long party is chronicled by no less than eight writers whose vantage points and unique skills are to assist in covering all angles of the guests' often complex relationships, from love to intrigue, as well as the items of arts, nuances, and genetics. But a later arrival of senior Masters riding on the winds of ancient rivalries, cast an ominous shadow over Ma-l's grounds and the future of the realms. Soon, the reporters find themselves in the role of observing far more than the rejoicing of friends amid the idyllic settings of the hostess' gardens and meadows. In essence, Ma-l's Grand Gathering, the third volume in the series of "An Improbable Emergence," is to be read as a manifold report of the ceremony that marks the first important step in the rise of the collective world of the Warriors. It also uncovers the ill-intents of those who wish to see these realms, the Guild of Masters, and many versions of humanity epically fail, and thus sets the tone for the denouement of book four, "Convergence of the Realms."
