This book is a compilation of reprints of NASA documents and photographs relating to Atlas-Centaur 17 and its payload, the ATS IV satellite. Due to the failure of the Centaur stage to refire, the satellite's orbit was suboptimal. Atlas-Centaur 17 is the third volume of America's Finest Rockets (TM). Each volume compiles articles and photos of a specific U.S. rocket. Atlas-Centaur 17 includes a NASA postflight analysis (146 pages) and a prelaunch press release (9 pages).
