Joy McCall and Liam Wilkinson - both outstanding poets and important voices in contemporary tanka and closely related short forms - have decided to share their correspondence of responsive sequences with the world. Infused with lyricism and deep meanings, these triptychs (sets of three poems), manage to somehow transcend the boundaries of here and now. This is a journey with no clear beginning or end; but rather a continuous thread of thoughts, memories and events leading us through the darkness, poem by poem, or if you prefer, song by song.
