The colony city-ships unhooked from the ground and lifted into orbit where they joined their waiting mothership. The few left behind were sacrificed for the sake of the many who would be saved. This is their story uncovered by archeologists millions of years later. Originally this novel was published many years ago under the title The Drakkon Riders. Like the bones in this story the story is being uncovered again.
