A track coach takes a look of the effect coming school transgender policies will have on girls sports. Those policy changes include boys in the girls locker rooms and boys on girls athletic teams due to a walk into the guidance office and a declaration of the new gender. Human dignity and suicide is often cited as a defense of such policies using Title IX as the legal impetus behind it. Yet the same officials hell-bent on creating this brave new world in high school athletics and life has not considered the cost to young women. What if that same policy meant to make a few feel better ends up destroying girls athletics? Using track statistics from a five year period the book points out what should be obvious...boys have a general advantage over girls in areas of speed, jumping, and physical strength. Should a girl lose a school record, a sectional patch, a trip to states...or even get cut from the team due to a boy playing as a girl? Why is letting a boy play as a girl any different from a girl using drugs to enhance her performance? This book will explore these questions.
