Publisher's Synopsis
Garegin Nzhdeh, a revolutionary commander who fought for the independent Armenia in the beginning of XX century, has turned into a religious guru of Third Reich in Hitle's cabinet. Post-Soviet Armenian last two presidents, 1996-2017, have promoted the Nzhdeh's national-socialism in a form of tribal neo- paganism, inventing Armenian ancient deities, which have never existed before and turning modern Armenia into a lawless clandestine society. The researcher and scholar Anna Anahit Paitian presents the analysis of this neo- pagan belief, which came to replace the former atheism - especially the connection of ultra-nationalism with occult practices.
