The Kincade's peaceful existence was shattered by an evil felon from their past. Morgan Kincade set off to rescue his nephew, but the subsequent conflict served to further undermine the rather strained relationship between him and his wife, Beth. Their estrangement and Beth's search for a way forward in her life led her into extreme danger and heartache, but also into a friendship she could never have anticipated. With the help of her new friend, Daniel Black Hawk, Beth found Morgan again. Finally reconciled and re-united, they had one last battle to fight to remove the threat hanging over their family, before they could return home to a safer, happier life.
