Since Carnival had arrived, the family decided to leave on a trip to Nazare, a fishing village in the central coast of Portugal. Here they enjoyed the dances and the traditional procession of floats, as well as the magnificent local culture, with a tour to Sitio's promontory in order to see the internationally known gigantic waves of Nazare being surfed at the North Beach (Praia do Norte).
