Arty's character represents all young children that love to use visual art as a way to escape, express, and communicate how they view their world. The end of story will inspire the reader to create a more colorful world. "Art and the Magic Sketchbook" was written and illustrated by Nick Hansen. After working many years as an educator, Hansen created the "Magic Sketchbook" as a safe place for kids to see the power of creativity.
