The nations of the world were destroyed by a nuclear/biological Apocalypse. The few decent human survivors are struggling to re-establish themselves in a world filled with outlaws and zombies. Zombie Rangers R.S. Walker and Billy Jones have just returned to Haven after a trip to the coast. They expected to find things pretty much as they left them. Instead, they discover a burnt out settlement with no trace of April or any of the other members of the community; unless you count the zombie nailed to the wall of the one buildings still standing. The next several months are filled with one catastrophe after another as the Zombie Rangers try to catch up to the gang of cannibalistic outlaws that have left a path of death and destruction across Oregon and northern California. Can they catch up to the outlaws who have taken April captive? Can they overcome overwhelming odds if they do? Who is behind this new horror that has been unleashed on the survivors of the modern Apocalypse? How will Captain Walker cope with the loss of April if he can't save her once again?
