Publisher's Synopsis
Far to the north on the world of Ghea lie the lands of Alastari. In the centre of this magical land is the Isle of the Eye; home to Lady Greywand and her immortal legions. Warriors who have proven their skills in combat are recruited from the gladiator arenas all over Alastari. At that time, their task was to protect Alastari from hostile forces that entered through the Chaos Gates. Their prize for accepting this duty is immortality. To the west of the city of Chimlevtal lies the sleepy village of Eagle's Point. Since its founding it has stayed in relative obscurity. That is until the odd happenings centring on Lover's Grove; a patch of forest used by the teenagers of Eagle's Point to party and other hi-jinks. But now, thanks to the breaking of the seal of a forgotten Chaos Gate within the grove, an old enemy of Alastari has returned. To protect Alastari, Lady Greywand sends a band of lord protectors to close the gate. But is it too late?
