Jerboas are weird looking animals that are very cute. They actually look like different types of animals all combined into one - making them even more interesting and intriguing.
The Jerboa is a type of a hopping desert rodent, so it somewhat looks like a mouse. It also looks like a hamster, which is also related to the mouse - so that shouldn't surprise you at all. Since these are hopping creatures, you can also compare them to kangaroos, but their ability to jump is not the only thing that makes them kangaroo-like. They actually look like small versions of kangaroos, too, because they stand on long hind legs and have very short forelegs (or arms).
There are also species of Jerboas that have long ears. Because of this, they somewhat look like rabbits, too. Of course, those with short ears look more like mice and hamsters.
