Since the words of God have been known among mankind, both disciples and antagonists alike have sought to authenticate and validate them, seeking to obtain the most accurate versions and translations. Sadly, the history of mankind and their religion is a long and terrible one, making the search for pure and unadulterated truth nearly impossible. The texts included in these volumes have been selected both due to their ancient date and general theme of agreement with canonical texts. To claim that these texts are more accurate than those more widely accepted would be incorrect, just as it would be incorrect to assume canonical texts are pure and unblemished. These volumes are presented to the world as yet another voice, one that has been silenced through exclusion for centuries that now through the miracle of modern technology and the countless hours of benevolent souls, are able to breathe. Though the translation, transcription and interpretations are flawed, they still however, provide a valuable peering into the minds of past inspired teachers. Just as we only learn from our interactions with others, how valuable it is to explore the minds of times long past when the energies of life were vastly different from our own. Many of the included texts predate the Christian Bible and are gnostic in nature; hidden away from the iron fist of Rome, of which a great many gave their lives in order that a future generation might be allowed to see beyond the confines of organized religion and learn the true nature of God.
