Publisher's Synopsis
Casper Van Holland is a widower wanting to take his young daughter to Oregon Country to live with his married brother. Julia Warren is traveling to Oregon Country with her sister and brother-in-law. Rather than share a wagon, Julia arranges to hire Casper to drive her wagon. Everyone on the wagon train believes Casper and Julia are married. When the truth is discovered, they either marry or leave the wagon train. The journey from Saint Joseph, Missouri to Oregon City takes five treacherous months.
