Publisher's Synopsis
The thirteen poems in this volume are about parents and children. In particular, they are about my wife, Giulietta, and myself and our children, Francis and Ines, but not exclusively. Having an anxious disposition, I find that I have emphasized not just the joys of parenthood, but also the terrors. There are also existential musings that children inspire, as well as a poem that was written specifically to instruct children. My father took many beautiful photographs of me as a child, and I have used several of these to enhance this collection.
